IUP Ice Hockey
The Coolest Thing On Ice
The hockey tradition at IUP was started in 1970 when student David
Lang and ROTC instructor Capt. Pete Hanson combined their love of a
sport to form what was to become the first Indiana Universtiy of
Pennsylvania Hockey Club. Since that time IUP Ice Hockey has grown
tremendously. IUP is currently a participant of the ACHA Divsion II
club level team. This year IUP was ranked among the top teams in the
region. All IUP home games are played at the Indiana Ice and Expo
Center. The team would like to welcome all to watch the fastest game
in town.
